DAY 01 ARRIVAL - SRINAGAR

This day we take utmost privilege in cordially welcoming you to experience and explore the holistic delight of Jammu and Kashmir- the heaven on earth. After getting luggage at the airport, proceed towards Srinagar. Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and Dal and Anchar lakes. The city is known for its natural environment, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats. Stay at a Hotel in Srinagar.

DAY 02 LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After refreshing yourself, leave the hotel and take a walk around, and feel the surroundings of Dal Lake nearby. Cover the famous Mughal Gardens NishatBagh “Abode of Pleasure on the shore of the Dal Lake”, Shalimar Bagh “Abode of Love built by Jahangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan”, Cheshma Shahi, Tulip Garden, Shankrachariya Temple & Pari Mahal. Stay at the hotel in Srinagar. 

DAY 03 SONMARG DAY TRIP

After refreshing yourself, proceed towards Sonamarg also known as “the Meadows of Gold”, enroute through the picturesque countryside ride where we will come across rolling hills, green forests, clear water streams and blooming rice fields and majestic mountains. It’s a trekker’s heaven, a starting point for many treks, spectacular skies, and snowy mountains, huge lake, strewn with the loveliest Alpine forests. You will gasp in wonderment at the golden light that glints from the snow-capped peaks when lazy sun rays fall on them. You can opt for a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier (on your own cost) to have some fun in Snow or place your visit to Zero Point and Fish Point ( at your own cost ). In the evening drive back to Srinagar and enjoy your stay at the Hotel in Srinagar 

DAY 04 GULMARG DAY TRIP

After refreshing yourself, proceed towards Gulmarg, also known as the meadow of flowers, enroute through the small picturesque market of Tangmarg. It’s a famous Hill station of Jammu & Kashmir and is known for its salubrious beauty and charm. The route is full of Pine trees, Deodars, Amaltas, and Kikkar trees flanking the mountain side. It is known for Ski – Resort and The world’s highest 18 –hole Golf course. You can also enjoy a Gondola Ride (on your own cost) and take a look at the Apharwat Peak which offers a panoramic view of Nanga Parbat and Harmukh Mountains. It can take you up to the height of 16, 000 ft. above sea level and will mesmerize you with the glaciers of Khilanmerg and Afarwat. A word of caution, it is cold there so brace yourself with warm clothes and accessories. If you have a knack for winter sports then you could buckle up for snow skiing, sledging, snow bikes and ATV bikes(at your own cost). In the evening, drive back to Srinagar and proceed for Shikara Ride on Dal Lake; this ride is one of the most soothing, restful aspects of a holiday in Jammu and Kashmir. Visit to floating gardens (raadh) is yet another wonderful experience. A cluster of Lotus flowers amidst the lake is a heavenly sight. Stay at a houseboat in Srinagar. 

DAY 05 SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM

After refreshing yourself, proceed towards Pahalgam also known as “the valley of Shepherds”, enroute through the National Highway 1A which connects the valley with the rest of the Country through saffron fields and Apple Valley. It is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River that rises from the hanging Kolahoi Glacier. Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd’s village with breathtaking views. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipura ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantivarman), see the beautiful countryside on the way and a lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Now it is Kashmir’s premier resort, cool even during the height of summer when the maximum temperature does not exceed 25°C. After lunch, have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of the magnificent view of mountains. Place your visit to Baisaran Valley / Mini Switzerland on Pony Rides ( at your own cost ). Stay at a Hotel in Pahalgam.

DAY 06 PAHALGAM

After refreshing yourself, you can stroll along the horse trail to the nearby valleys Baisaran, Chandanwari and Aru Valley (at your own cost – only cars operated by locals are allowed) and witness the striking beauty of mountains. Enjoy walking around Aru Village. A walk along the Lidder stream towards Pahalgam from Aru Village is very highly recommended for Nature Lovers. Stay at a Hotel in Pahalgam.

DAY 07 PAHALGAM - KATRA

After refreshing yourself, drive towards Katra, the base point of Vaishnodevi shrine. After reaching their check in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the time leisurely. Stay at Katra Hotel.

DAY 08 DARSHAN - DEPARTURE

 After refreshing, start your trip towards Mata Vaishnodevi shrine ( on your own ). It’s one of the holiest Hindu temples dedicated to Mata Shakti and is the second most visited religious shrine in India after Tirupati Balaji Temple. Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Ji resides in a holy cave located in the folds of the three peaked mountain named Trikuta. Trek to Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine is 14 km, Battery operated cars, Palkies, Ponies or Helicopter rides can also be arranged for the trek (at your own cost). After Vaishno Devi Darshan drive back to the Railway Station.
